Are Mavs increasing in value or are these pipe dreams?

'People" are now discovering one of the last true American - Muscle Cars', the evolution of the early lighter/smaller Mustang and Comet/Falcon small block equipped Ford cars. Most of the 'people' discovering the Maverick were born long after the last small bumper Maverick rotted away.

I often get asked if my '74 is a 'Firebird" or some other long gone badge and somewhat obscure model.

    hav e fun

Funny you mention the Firebird thing. I had a woman ask me if it was a Nova.

Some guy thought my Maverick was a Javelin. I think he was a tweaker.
Someone at a car show referred to it as a Comet. Close enough, I guess...

A lot of things are going crazy right now. Maybe I'm wrong but I think it's a bubble right now. Garden variety used cars are up 20% over the past few months. C5 Corvettes have doubled in price in not much over a year. Even S197 3V Mustangs are listing for $4K over KBB value, and KBB is usually on the high side.
