After cautiously rebuilding my 73 Mav, ( 2nd owner, 56k miles, no rust 250), I'm feeling optimistic....but, it's been many years since I turned a wrench...let's change optimistic to 'that's not right!..Soo..it fired up ok, now has about 20 miles of varying speeds, lots of torque, no over heating issues..My Carter RBS 1v was O/H , new kit , done by a competent pro...the harmonic balancer is original, I did put new sleeve in. Checked the bolts, washers of same, also fan....HERE'S THE CATCH...parked, at a about 1800, 2k revs, a cyclic vibration occurs..it's brief, but not friendly...only noticed it few days ago..It is new..Any suggestions? ...Thank You !

You did stated your balancer is original?

Shouldnt you have replaced that too?
