Hey everyone this is probably a pretty dumb question but where is the horn located on a 1976 mercury comet? I’ve been pressing all over the steering wheel and I can’t find it. It’s possible that my horn doesn’t work but I just don’t know the location to test it. Any help would be great thanks!

Thanks, do you know the location inside the car? Is there a button or something?

The horn should be attached to the inner driver side fender just behind the grille and should be easy to see.

The spokes have a pad on them usually pushing on them will make horn blow, the contact pad underneath the rubber cover is known to get brittle and not work . There is no fuse for horn it gets it power through headlight switch. To test for power you will have to take horn pad off and were the wires hook up jump together
