70 maverick strut conversion

    Has anybody converted a 70 maverick over to a mustang 79-93 front struts and 94-04 spindle using the stock lower control arm simlar to the RRS setup. not sure if this is doable

    I'd say it's doable. You can probably buy a top mount or fab one. But you may have to make lower arms. Just my thoughts.

    I'm going to look into it a bit closer I've been looking at the RRS setup but it's a bit pricey

    I used the AJE K member which uses Fox struts and brakes or many of the aftermarket parts - Much cheaper

    There's a company that makes a strut conversion for our cars. NICKDOMINIC on here has one. Don't remember the name of the company or details.

    RSS makes awesome stuff but they sure are proud of it.

    A quick Google search tells me the track width of a Fox body Mustang is virtually identical to a Maverick and an SN95 is only about an inch wider, so there ought to be a way to do it. The K member setup might be less invasive than an MII as well.
