Got My Engine Running Today But The Wires Are Really Close To Headers Ex: 4cylinder Are There Any Metal Covers Etc To Prevent The Wire From Burning Up Thanks Ron

 

yes they do and they work great...a friend uses them....i havent bought any yet....my boots arent touching and they havent melted....the second i have a prob i am getting some

i think they have them available at checker and autozone and the like

i used header wrap on the first 8" of each primary and fiberglass boot-covers with good success

 

summit has spark plug boots from taylor and dei. i can't remember what brand i use but they work great. run about $53 for a set of 8. not cheap but they work.

 

here is an idea.....take a pair of old coveralls....or levi's....cut out sections about 6 inches wide....about 8 inches long...fold it over on itself the 8 inch way..(so its thick)..wrap it around the spark plug and then use a metal tie wrap or metal bread bag tie.....

cheap and would work pretty good....

might work might not.....i just came up with it....
