    Thanks,

I hated to have to get rid of it, but, like they say, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I just hope one day I might be able to find another one in that good of shape that I can afford.

well, i'm glad i'm not the youngest person here- this month 1984... but i do really wish i had grown up around all of the nice cars instead of the crap we have now.. and i wish i could have bought my mav brand new- maybe i wouldn't have to sit and stare at it without being able to drive it...

I was born in 1956, it was very good year. I got to see the change from mono to stereo, AM to FM. I saw the beginning of the Mustang and the Maverick. The best thing was that a new Maverick Grabber would be my first new car. The '05 Mustang excitement reminds me of when the fastback 2+2 came out. Everybodys talking!

foxxy, i second your opinion, seems most folks here are older than i. not that thats bad, with age come experience and wisdom (we hope) ;) . i was born sept 20 1980 (year mt. st. helens blew!!!!!) (in fact i believe i in-utero wandering the washington mountains when it happened, if i remember the folkes story right) maybe thats a bad sign, maybe a good one:huh: i also identify with the plight of not having any truly unique and cool cars issued new during my formative years, maybe thats why i like the older ones:hmmm:

later all, i gotta go work on the 71 mav:evilsmile

1958, a great year to be born but an odd year for cars. the 58 chebby's were out and 57's were still the craze! 57 fords were all over the place. I have a 1973 maverick grabber sport sedan (still to be started restoring)and alot of other crap that I owe money on, girls in college, business bills, everybody has a hand out wanting money!!!! well enough venting, just dreaming and planning the maverick's facelift and eventual show winning condition and looking forward to mini meets and car shows!!! see ya!
