I hit up a couple of sites that probably helped towards getting back to the 100+ vote lead.

I also went to some other Ford forums I'm a part of, and told them to vote. :yippee:

OK, as long as the great resale value and classic history of Subaru have come up, let's review, shall we?

Let's start with 1969, the year the Maverick came out:

Yeah, that's macho. I will never apologize for a 170 cubic inch three on the tree again.

Oh, for people who need a little more space, upgrade to this:

Let's move on to 1977, the last year of the Maverick. Subaru has come a long way, as you can see here. (Well, maybe not...)

Now, since Ford and GM had pretty much given up on Ghetto trucks, Subaru to the rescue!!!

By 1992, you would think Subaru would have come a long way, especially having 15 years to develop after the demise of the Maverick. Well.....?

And probably my alltime favorite automotive styling atrocity, the "Wedge". Cool Mom, it goes up and down!!!

So there we have it. We have a select few at the Subaru board copping a holier than thou attitude, and with an all-star history like that, hey, who can blame them? They have definitely earned the right to boast!!

    LOL!!!:rofl2:

Looks like their early cars were a lame attempt of copying Volkswagons. :)

I guess it's all over but the crying on the SVX forum. There are several decent members calling for the thread to be deleted they are so ashamed of what I coaxed their members into saying. No reason to let our gaurd down though until it's over.

    Mind games are fun. [IMG]

Gentleman. I have offered a truce to the Subaru guys. If you post on their site please be respectful and they will do the same here. I really like the battle but still want to keep things from getting out of hand. Now lets kick some subaru arse:smash:

My friend had one of XT's. He hated that car so much, he left it abandoned in a parking lot and never went back for it.

I have worked on subaru's. Seem to be well built, The styling does not do much for me. In the end I stick by my old standby,, foreign cars suck. Just my opinion, dont care if what anyone else thinks, wont ever change my mind. If this is politically incorrect, I dont care.

I guess I'm not afraid to SHOw who I am and hide behind the computer. Its just like some on here and other boards that use their real name instead of a screen name. Their not hiding either.
