Hey everyone, I finally got the pics of my new paint job off the camera. Been busy dealing with some legal issues. The paint job is just a Maaco paint job and I have nothing positive to say about that company, but that is a story for another day. Hope you all enjoy the pictures!

Looks good ... do the legal issues have to do with the Maaco paintjob?

Can you install the Bobcat tail lights without putting any additional holes in the back panel? I have always liked them, but I figured you had to modify the panel, but I don't see any extra holes in your pictures.

    Your car looks great!

There are holes in the pic, but they are small and hard to see. You could probobly get by with cutting that post off the lights though, you would just need some kind of a strong double sided adhesive to address any kind of vibration. The rest of it lines up perfect.

The legal issues are trying to protect myself from identity theft after many of my personal documents were stolen from my backpack, I'm hoping it was just a crackhead that broke into my car and took it hoping there was something worth money in there. Idiot stole my radio without taking the faceplate or plug adapter.

I'll post later about how much Maaco sucks.

The holes should not be an issue. You only need to drill two very small holes, which can easily be filled if you ever wanted to reinstall the original taillights...

one of friends has a focus that he got those Z3 fenders so had them paint to match the car once again it had chips in only after 2 weeks.

i wish i could have warned you about MAACO before you went there..

just remember.. you get what you pay for... MAACO should only be used if you want to see a car fast and want to get a little more cash for a busted up car.

NEVER use MAACO on a car you want to keep.

trust me... i have been painting for 15 years and i have seen so many cars messed up by MAACO..

same as Earl Shieb. any place that has a paint job that low has to be questioned.

maaco uses vaseline as tape by the way, and they dont sand very well at all.. which will cause paint to lift up after a few months
