Those cars are junk. They are "Shelby" in name only, as Carrol Shelby had nothing to do with them...

    That my considered so mustangueros:

With knowledge of which there are true experts in everything here what it is related to him to mustangs and that shelby has one close relation with mustang, me surgio a doubt, since dandome a return by free trade encontre that was for sale maverick shelby http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.mx/...go-de-ford-_JM

I wanted to look for on the matter by the network and where encontre information was more in:
    http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=4008&page=3

Nevertheless I consider, that better than in Mexico to confirm or to deny here if in fact they exist or is fiction, and if it knows somebody them since better to remove to me from this doubt.

    Greetings.

If they existed in Mexico, hizó Shelby of Mexico, perhaps but that car in particular seems to me that it is not it, you must verify the invoice to be safe, could be to grabber but I am not sure either that it is this version for that would have to be American.
That car salio in an edition of Maverick´s of a magazine and if not badly memory belongs to somebody of Noble (if you need I verify the magazine or that somebody does plus it).
Cuaidado Ten so that there have been cases of sale announcements that use photos of mustang´s of companions of the forum.

    Greetings.

Then it is not looked in anything like a Shelby maverick of the 72, that but it is well to grabber of the 72.

Shelby maverick traia many esthetic parts different and not traia that coffer from grabber or commet GT, parrila was smooth without lights, with I only number of series and to look for the plate to him of shelby of Mexico.

    Greetings

    Ivan

Thanks to all by its information.

My restlessness is to see if really somebody has or has seen one, since it is mentioned that took place 300 in Mexico here, but to where I and therefore am mentioned at least in the forum of mavericks, nobody has seen one and apparently there is no a registry of them. For that reason my doubt of knowing if they exist or if that of the 300 armed cars is a myth; and that better than to see it to believe it, although it is in photos.

By the way in the forum of mavericks they mention that the photos of maverick green of above, does not have the certainty that is shelby, since any logo is not seen; that perhaps it is a modified car and relates to shelby by the photos of the accessories shelby to him that are vendian in the event. But that is to say.

I think that if outside shelby because she is but that obvious that in the pussycat motor she brings multiple of aluminum of shelby, headers of shelby and because a holley of 4 throats asi as covers and obvious filter and that as is a special edition must bring I number of series something asi like 003 of 100 or that I then do not believe that there are many or if

To where I all the Shelby-Maverick take (As they show the photos to it of the Link of Tamayo 1972) tachometer in the coffer and the blower pipe type Boss 429, sdemas of the covers of COBRA aims, and must have an invoice issued by Shelby of Mexico, I put a sample to you of an invoice of a Mustang Shekby de Mexico.

    Greetings

Appears to be as elusive in Mexico as it is here.

A easy way to translate is highlight the text, copy it then go to www.altavista.com click the babel fish translator and paste it. Not a perfect translation but decent and free.

Yeah... I did the 'translate page' link there and found that folks were seriously challenging the claim to "Shelby Maverick".
Seemed surprisingly polite about it though.
That particular translating engine is not great, but it gives a little more clairity than just trying to pick out words and phrases on your own.

Seems one 'bidder' claims the car should have a 351, another claims it should be a 4v 302. The seller claims the car is 289 2v and that it was originally yellow in color. He claims that there were 200 built and they were available in 4 colors: yellow, blue, green, and white.
He also seems to claim that the grabber hood is a Shelby indication.
A bidder suggests that the Shelby Maverick is no more valueable than an Eddie Bauer truck/suv since Shelby himself was not involved in the building of the car.
