so some of you guys with 302's and headers may have noticed that the stock steel line that exits out of the frame right under the master cylinder points almost directly at the header. im thiniking the best and safeist place to run that line from there is down next to the oil pan under the motor mount but obviously high enough where suspension isnt going to get in the way or yank it loose, and then just plug it into the mechanical fuel pump which isnt far from there. the onlu other thing i can think is to take the rubber line up along the top of the shock tower and back down again to get to the fuel pump but i dont want to run into any fuel delivery problems with having such a high point in the fuel system. the tank and all the lines before the pump are lower then the pump and i think its like that for a reason

but anyway, i look foward to hearing some opinions.

    thanks

On a 302 car the fuel line enters the engine bay in front of the shock tower. All you need to do is make up or buy steel tubing from the rubber juction under the driver seat. Run the extension through a new hole in front of the shock tower (through a grommet of course). Straight to the fuel pump on the engine with a rubber line.
