When does everyone park their Maverick's and Comet's for the winter? Do you park it in the garage or outside? Or how many of you can drive your baby all year round (your lucky) because the weather is great all year round?

    Thanks

Winter? ... what's that? .... oh, wait, I think you mean the time of year when it is not hurricane season ...

Is that a current pic of your car? ... no wonder why the population of our county doubles at this time of year. A lot of Midwesterners and many of your fellow Canucks have learned to migrate. I am pretty sure it starts when folks hit their 70s ... must be a skill that is learned later in life ...

I drive my RWD beast all year round! Course last year I got it stuck on a dirt road covered in ice and snow... had to use my Carhart jacket, stuffed under the back tires to get traction...

I'm in Michigan, so mine gets stored inside my shed. I drove it to work a couple times last week, but those days are numbered (weatherman is saying snow today). I'll more than likely have mine stored away sometime this month, which consists of giving it a good wash job, some Stabil in the gas, and throwing the cover on. This year I'm also going to use one of those "Battery Tenders" to keep the battery charged, rather than remove it and storing it in the basement....

I moved to the Sunshine State so that I could enjoy the things that brought me the most pleasure year round. That included enjoying sunshine instead of months of overcast days, snow and ice, slippery roads, days so cold that my hands hurt when I tried to work on my cars, drainback faucets to keep the water from freezing, etc.

What I didn't think about that there were things bigger than me hidden in and around the waters that could hurt me, such as gators, BIG snakes, and sharks. So, the water thing hasn't quite worked out like I thought it would. I prefer the lakes in Ky, Tn, Ga, and Ala to the murky Fl ones.

However, the cruising has worked out in spades. Car shows year round, weather good enough to go topless most of the time, and plenty of car crazy people to share it with.

My cars stay inside in a 48X60 building on 10 acres, so I have privacy to be able to play with the cars most days. I am looking forward to getting the Sprint and GT done to where I can enjoy them in the same magnitude as the others that are completed. I drive a classic to work each day and enjoy getting the others out when time presents itself.

Life is good when you own a classic.

I drive mine all year long. At least when it's not raining. That is limited during the winter & spring months....

My mav is outside and Sugar Mommas are both in the garage. So do I vote twice for inside?

I would drive it all year...but it lives in the garage. The sun in AZ is almost as bad on them as the snow and moisture.

My Maverick gets stored away for the winter in a garage. I have too much invested in the car to have it eaten alive by all the salt the highway departments dump on the roads. Just before the snow flies I like to take the car out for one more run. Then I'll fill the tank, check all the fluid levels and the tire pressure before tucking it away until spring. This year I'm storing the car in a different garage than I have in the past, and this one is not rodent proof. Looks like I'm going to have to get out the old car jacket and zip the car up inside of it. I'll deal with the car smelling like gas if it will keep the mice out.

Mine will live this winter scattered around in peices all over the garage waiting for a running motor this spring or early summer, hopefully it will be moving next spring on it own power.

Car gets parked in the garage as soon as the salt gets laid on the roads.

I drive mine all year.. and they are parked outside in the driveway and it is a big pain to keep them semi-clean, especially this time of year with the nasty maple leaves falling and sticking all over my bright yellow paint.... I try to keep some sort of wax coat on both of them and spray/wipe them down as often as possible even in the winter months... I try not to drive it if it is going to snow and they are going to put salt down and I also refrain from driving it for several days after a snow/salting but Rain and other bad weather I drive it almost everyday if I am not carpooling to work with the wife which is rare. I bought them both as daily drivers and plan on driving them that way.. when they start to get too ugly and chipped paint and start to rust again.... I guess I will restore them one more time.
