i love the full size rwd ford platform. theyre great, long lasting cars that make great drivers. imo gas mileage would be the only disadvantage the vic would have against any FWD competition i was looking into buying a 2003 cop car last month and even with the modern 4.6 under the hood theres still a ton of room to work on it, even more so then in my 302 marquis.
Now stuff a 5.4 in your Marquis. I know a guy who has a late 80's Town Car with a 5.4 out of a Lincoln Navigator in it, and a nice little supercharger. :evilsmile The interior and anything unimportant that adds weight has been stripped off the car, but it has tinted windows so you can't really tell. It looks stock on the outside, down to the fake wire wheel hubcaps. That is, until he's driving along, then guns it and the car gets sideways as smoke starts pouring out of the wheel wells. It's hilarious.
