I am thinking about buying a stud welder. I have access to wholesale pricing on H&S and Motor Guard. I figure I can save the cost of a machine by fixing the "battle damage" on my Mavrick.

I would appreciate any good advise on stud welders.

    Thank Y'all

I have a harbor freight model and it works very well. The puller they sell with it isn't the best. So I welded a threaded stud on the end of the puller and threaded that into a vise grips and that really worked well. Less than a $100 on sale.
