    My maverick is spoiled rotten......but I love it anyway. Mount flush with the edge.

    I love the spoiler. I mounted mine flush also. You can paint it later if you need to. I think the mustang spoilers are a nice 70's era touch. JMO

    Thanks for all the comments on positioning. No controversy there, :rolleyes: The trunk lid is marked to put the spoiler at the rear edge. Have a little rust repair to do under the lip then on to the hood,

    I'm putting one on my mav as well. Ordered a '71 which is 3/4" longer. Hopefully it will work out as nice as yours.

    71-73 are shorter also they look much better on our smaller cars.I mocked on up on mine about 2 weeks back tried both styles.

    Yeah. Just noticed that the standoffs are shorter. I think it is really going to look good!

    That wing will cost more than a Maverick...they didn't make many of them.

    What, if anything, should be done to ensure the bare metal exposed by drilling the holes won't be a conduit for rust?
