    ive actually herd that same thing with other maverick owners

    but for a brand new maverick price... it should be nicer (windshield wiper knob is worn and so is the lights one)

    That tells you that Mavericks aren't bringing this type of money.

    I think with the economy, people are putting more things up for sale. But not because they have to sell, they just think maybe having some cash would be good just in case. That means they post 'wishful' prices.

    That or the wife wants it sold so the husband puts a very high $$ tag on it ;)

    Assuming a 71 grabber or Comet Gt had a ground up restoration and was perfect in everyway, what type of prices would someone expect to pay for a car that was "showcar quality".

    I would say WAAAY more than that since I own one. :D I would say closer to $25,000 to $30,000.
