Back window plastic or metal?

    Hello everyone last weekend when I was at pinks all out with grabber71 we stayed at coops place and I got a piece of trim I guess you could call it. Its the back window piece and mine on my 1970 maverick is plastic but this one I got is metal anyone know why its metal?

    Are you talking about the trim piece on each side of the rear deck? They made both metal and plastic.

    I agree. I've seen them on more than just '70s. Why? Who knows?
    I like the metal better. :thumbs2:

    Mine were plastic but i swapped them out for the metal ones. the two vent windows also came with both metal and plastic latches
