    that sounds good bryant because my cam is only good to 6200rpm as far as nos i will have to keep that in mind maybe a 100 shot when im racing will keep things from burning up.

    the heads are off a 89 mustang with bowl work and exh work multi-angle valve job 3 on the seats 2 on the valves that car ran 13.30s at 102mph weighing 3370lbs with 200000 miles on the short block:chirp:i had lots of fun with that car

    Can I get my wheels off the ground with my setup?

    308 ci, 750 double pump holley, gt40 heads, single plane, C4, 26" slicks, 3.80 spooled rear, and 265 dynoed rwhp?

    so my goal is very close 275 at rwhp but i think i will have to change my gears from 3.50 to the 411s i have. looks like a new intake is in order also.

    you can cheat the chassie dyno by running higher gears. (numaricly lower). so puting 4.10s in will get you a lower number than 3.55s will.

    the problem with 289s is that the mph on the dyno gets to high and the dyno shuts down. i know this because it happend to me. kinda sucked. the dyno shuts off and doesnt record the numbers. it was a 175mph if i rember correctly.

    right now i have 4.57s. my dyno number is at the flywheel. i had the motor dynoed befor i put it in. i have a thirdmember with 3.25s for when i want to cruise the streets and go freeway speeds with out spinning my motor to the moon.
