What about the first question under your post (shipping prices)? I no they will very, but a rough idea would be great. I no maverick man charges 150.00 for his, so i was just wondering. Thanks

mavmike72,i will figure that out when the time comes ,ill tell you this much,im not doing this to make money .I will soon have a one of a kind steel grabber cowl hood for my race car .If i make a plug mold out of my steel hood it will be because i want two light wieght grabber cowl hoods for myself, one for my racecar and one for my everyday driver. If i can sell 7 of these hoods i just might get my two for free for letting Ken use my steel hood as the plug and for selling the 5 to 7 hoods for him.The bottom line is that this will be a unique hood with very few people owning them, i hope 20 or less.

inside painted ,Grabber Cowl hood. The inside of the hood is not perfect 8 out of 10,the out side will be perfect 10 out of 10. I built this hood for my race car not for a show car . The glass hood if its made will be perfect.

What is the time line on the fiberglass units? Also, will they have any paint on them? Also, is there any thing going in the grabber vent openings? It is looking better all of the time.

Well folks getting real close to the finished product ,the outside of the hood should be painted and cleared tomorrow .I bought some industrial tracing paper 36 inches wide ,im going to tape it to my mint stock Grabber hood and trace out the painted strip.Im going to cut out the center of the traced decal and put it over the cowl and lay it down on the hood in the same spot as the factory one and mask the rest of the hood off and paint it silver with no clear on the strip ,i think it will look great .

You might need to split the pattern so it fits the center of the cowl scoop, and also fits the Grabber scoops....

nevermind, I see what you're saying on cutting out the cowl portion. I was thinking your stripes were divided in the center.
