Got her running yesterday, and she drives! :D

Just had a loose trans line(which I was really hoping for!) Now I just need to get the body put back together. :D

Even better news, one of my friends agreed to spray it for free, all I need to do is get the body ready and figure out what color I want, any suggestions?

Im glad I didnt have to sell it too :D The house Im looking at has a huge building that they used to keep horses in, itll be nice to have that as my car hut :D

The original color was metallic brown with tan interior...the interior is now/will be black/silver.

Got a Maverick catalog yesterday from AutoKrafters (I live pretty much right down the road from them) so the Maverick restoration is underway...again :D

Got the coolant system finished and timing and what-not adjusted, just need to get the power steering pump hooked up...when I tried to take it off stupid me backed the mount bolt into the pulley and the ratchet got stuck in neutral...now I have a ratchet free spinning on my PS pump and I cant get it off! :biglaugh:

My son has this new thing now, the conversation goes like this.

Jeffery: Daddy, you gonna work on my car today?
Me: Not today, Im working on the other car.
Jeffery: But my cars been broke longer.
Me: I know, but I need this one running first.
Jeffery: Well hurry up, I want to drive my car!

Its a different conversation each time, but every time it ends with "Hurry up" or "well work on it then!" :rofl2:
