Here is what I used and no damage to drip rail. Not sure what a uphead is.

I found several good threads when I typed in "headliner" in the search field.

    Blu,

Did you get that tool from NASA? I think they had a garage sale since Obama is shutting them down.

Getting it off is the easy part. Getting it back on without cutting the paint off not so easy. We decided to leave mine off for fear of cutting the paint off like when we reinstalled the door moulding. Based on my reassembly of my car I would limit the amount of paint and primer on the trim edges if I did it again.

You're Right putting that drip moulding trim back on Ain't for sissy's. First take your time don't force it,second make sure your paint is well setup, don't try to put them on two days after painting. Good Luck!

Left mine on and had the painter mask it. No way I was screwing up a $4K paint job trying to get that chrome back on. The windshield chrome is hard enough a challenge without messing up paint.

I removed mine. If one is careful, it is not too hard of a job.

That's good to know about limiting the paints.
Seriously? NO other car looks as good WITH it so it's gotta go back on. :D
