The AutoZone courtesy 10: 10% discount

I've seen that discount once with hand cleaner and towels. I quit buying from Autozone except for an occasional item (when they're the only store that has it). When they first introduced the loyalty card program, their prices were about the same as O'reillys and I used the card like crazy. Then I noticed their prices got higher and essentially eliminated the discount. Sure, the discount card still works, but it is discounting higher priced parts and sometimes is actually HIGHER than the competition in the end. So, I gave up and took all my business to O'reillys.

 

We are know just getting a O-reillys here in town will be open in about a month and i will never go anywhere else. Not only for the quality of parts but in most auto parts stores they have young employees that have never seen under a hood of a vehicle. I have been to advance and to get a simple item like a coil they have no ideal of what i am talking about. Don't get me wrong i think it's great to hire youg people but they need to have at least some knowledge of basic machanic's. Sorry got side tracked i to had the discount card and threw it away for they did in time jacked the prices and the discount wasn't even noticable.

 

I don't fall for any of those pricing things anymore.

I go to Advance Auto thats by my house for 2 reasons... 1) I know 90% of the staff there and they always treat me right. 2) It's close.

I still do my pricematching online if I'm needing something before I go. If something is drastically different I ask them to pricematch it when I go in. If its just a few dollars I'm not worried about it because they are always friendly and I get a discount most of the time anyways.

I used to bounce around stores depending on promos or deals that were going on, but I got so tired of the ignorant people working there so I just went where I feel like I'm treated right
