Would you happen to have a Centerforce part number for that clutch? I might be finally using my new Zoom 30018 by this coming summer and when it turns out looking like Joe Dirt's, I'll be needing something better.
I ran a Zoom clutch back in the eighties when my car had a four speed and went through two of them in a matter of a few months ,both times the clutch disc fell all to pieces. I ended up putting a c-4 in it .
said they will need to make sure it isnt contaminated, rep said it shouldnt be an issue to warranty it out. imm call them once i ship it and discuss maybe a upgrade option
Now I'm hoping this holds together once I finally get to put it to use Different pressure plate but the very same disc
The center force number is a DF490030 for the complete kit and a n1439 throwout bearing number for a toploader best clutch I have ever used !
Thanks, I'll make a note of the part number hoping I won't be needing it. On your "light pedal pressure" comment, is that using mechanical linkage or hydraulic? I'm going with a Tilton M/C and a CNC slave.
