Who needs trunk space? I got enough room for my tool box and thats about it. Thats all I need. guess it would be nice to have a spare tire but thats why i pay for the towing coverage from Hagerty:biglaugh:. I just open the bottle once and leave it open until i leave the track. I have never used it on the street.

Nice trunk panels, Ryan. Did you make them yourself and is the front panel there to hide speakers or something?

I didnt do the woodwork. I had it made by a custom stereo shop. There are amps mounted vertically on both sides and a sub box with 2 speakers behind the panel. I out in the false floor and covered it in carpet to complete the job.

In PA it's illegal to have a bottle inside the passenger compartment on a street driven car.

I'd rather carry a spare than pay some numbskull to possibly tear up my vehicle from towing it the wrong way

Among other things, I am a AAA certified tow operator. Trust me, my car will not be hooked up improperly. I thoroughly annoyed the guy last time I needed a tow.

Is it legal in CA? Never looked into it.

I haven't needed a spare fo rmy Maverick in about 15 years. Driving probably less than 1000 miles a year chances are slim I will get a flat. You should see my 5 year old tires, still look brand new. I never drive far from home anyways, and got a spare there I can have somebody bring if i needed to. But I got free towing on my Hagerty Insurance so would probably just tow it home if i ever had a flat.

I heard that it is illegal here to have the nitrous hooked up while driving. Never really checked into it. But i'm sure as long as you aren't using it and the valve is closed on the way to the track you won't have any problems. It's probably a safety law incase you get into an accident they don't want the possible of the nitrous line rupturing and catching fire. the scene from the first The Fast and the Furious comes to mind.... Soon it'll be illegal to own a car in CA.
