Well, hello all I bought this 72 comet GT about 4 months ago. My first plan of attack is the suspension. I bought a steering suspension kit from lourel mountain mustangs off ebay for 450 and plan on putting it in this weekend. Than I'm going to get the rear end re-leafed (the're flat and sitting on shackels right now. The 302 has an aluminum airgap intake and a holly 550 or 600 on it i don't remember. Headers and dual exhaust that come out in front of the rear tires. This is not my first old car, but it is my first comet, and I have been a Die-hard ford fan my whole life. I plan on putting MSD in and converting to a t5 after my suspension (from a c4).

Im not sure yet, I haven't found many comet hood/grill parts. But I have found a maverick hood I think im going to pick up and I also found an original cougar eliminator scoop I think im going to grab and put it on and make functional and look more like a comet. I like the lines on the front of the Mav hood better, but Im not sure what I want, It's not high on the priority list.
