Got my bumpers in a week, from "Restoration Chrome", in Spokane, Washington. The cost was $240 per bumper. They ship to you, with no core charge. They just ask that you be honest & ship back your old bumper, as a core. You can go to www.restorationchrome.com and look up prices. I'm very happy with the results.... I would use them again, if I need more rechromed bumper....
Tri-City did the bumpers and the bumper guards for my 77' Maverick. I would recommend them whole heartedly. As others have stated, they are not cheap and they do take a while to get them done, but the results are well worth the cost and the wait. I had my bumpers done a few years ago and it took about 12 weeks to get them back. At that time it cost us $600 for both the front and back bumper and 4 bumper guards. I'm sure the price has gone up a bit since then.
I just called both places (Atlanta Exchange and Tri-city). With both you get the same bumper back. Both said about 3 weeks as of today, but that might change with the nicer weather. Tri was $300 and Atlanta was $275.
The company I work for has stuff sent through them daily. I can get up to 30-40% discount too. Actually they're directly behind the building I work at lol
I was taking some pics. today and thought i would share a bumper pic. my 7 year old Bumper Boyz bumper...$166 no exchange...I am 100% pleased... now for the bad news...from what i read they (Bumper Boys) are not the place to shop... Google...Bumper Boyz... Frank...
^^^^ yep, sounds like they've dropped the ball a bit since you dealt with them lol. and i'm still very much happy with my Tri city plating bumpers that are 3 years old now. no imperfections whatsoever.
