I got a call from a guy Friday night. Said he was taking this car to the scrapper in the morning, and he wanted to know if I wanted anything off of it before it went. Well, I told him if he just brought it over to my house instead, I would buy it off of him...so he brought it over here this morning.

Pretty much stripped, and pretty rusty, but at least I will save a few parts from the crusher. What you see is what I got. It was a 302 V-8, 3-speed manual transmission car with manual steering, factory floor shift, and bucket seats.

Is the rear deck lid there? If so I need the trim.

Does it have the 6" wide steel wheels? Looks like a typical Comet. :)

Are those metal package tray end caps? I broke one of my plastic ones and should get the metal ones.

I found it at the scrap yard and gave it a little tlc. A funny conversation piece if nothing else.
