I put on a set of helper springs to raise the rear end and give the car a sportier look:bananaman

Got the parts together and started repairing the bad rocker/spring/lock/retainer on #2Exh. Came real close to losing a good engine over this thing. Glad it will finally get done.

I just ordered long wheels studs, open lug nuts and a brake proportioning valve from Summit. Yesterday I ordered a disc/drum master cylinder and push rod. This is all in preparation to putting the disc brakes I bought from 'Joe Dirt' on my car. The power steering is coming out too for the manual gear I've got ready to go in.

I applied excess pressure to the skinny pedal and shaved a layer of rubber from my back tires:chirp:It was extra weight anyhow!

Got my trans temp gauge installed. With air temp in the high 80s, and about a 30 minute drive with a few WOT runs in 1st and 2nd, the gauge got as high as 195*.

One interesting thing, to me at least. The Auto Guage had three terminals: Sender, Switched 12V, and Ground. At first I didn't connect the ground terminal and the gauge read WAY high, like 2X degrees F. When I could hold my hand on the trans pan the gauge was reading over 250*. Not sure why it needs a ground terminal but it does. Readings seemed reasonable with ground terminal grounded.

I bought a real nice WC T-5 for my project car, didn't even have to clean it.
