Anybody know if it is possible to convert my standard 1970 maverick hood to a grabber hood?

It is more than just adding the scoops. The whole area is raised along that area of the hood. The inner structure might be different as well.

Inner structure is the same, but unless you are a master fabricator, who has built cars from a stack of flat sheet metal, your just gonna wind up with a ruined stock hood.

I agree i added scoops to my 70 hood, i wasnt going for the grabber look just messing around i think i looks cool, i think it would be way too time consuming, and it would prob. be cheaper to get a grabber hood that needed work. thats my 2 cents, i've found thats worth about 1cent

I wish I could find a Grabber Hood in Alaska, shipping from the lower 48 is outrages, thus the reason I have humored the idea converting my exixting hood. BONHAM, you added scoops. Do you have pics?
Thank you for the input everybody.
