Well I know what would have happened if it was my MAverick in high school. Different times though. I suggest going through the proper channels and play the bullying card.
Present yourself as a victim and take advantage off the current rules in your school board whatever they may be. Do some research on line to find out what those rules are how you can use them. Its better to outsmart the culprit than do something you may get charged for.

I say park a couple cars away from a friend of yours and then hang out in your friends car with a camera. When they start messing with your car take pictures for proof. Then decide if you want to go through the proper channels or return the favor, maybe with some buck lure in a turkey baster and squeezed in someones locker or their car if you really don't like them.

Simply clamp a piece of hardware cloth over the tailpipe and it will stop anything from going in and not restrict exhaust coming out, don't do anything you may get in trouble for in retaliation.

get a friend to park his car towards you cars reared and setup a camera to catch them. Then take the video to the police, school administration and youtube. If your in Texas, shoot 'em!:thumbs2:

The easiest way to fix this issue is do the following.

Take a metal screen (stainless steel) and tac weld to your tail pipe (make sure the screen is cut to fit on your tailpipe).

Get a locking gas cap and install on the car

Park in a high traffic area or in front of a camera that you know can see your car.

Let administration know about the issues you are having and they will keep an eye out for any mischief.

Don't drive a nice classic to High School. People are ignorant and immature and don't understand the value and the energy that goes into maintaining a classic or nice car. They WILL go out of their way to damage it, key it, or prank you.

When I was younger someone took all but 1 lugs off of my dads suburban and he was driving down the freeway when his front passenger tire came flying off. He went across 5 lanes of traffic on I-5 in Seattle at 70mph. Luckily he didn't crash. His tire was found about 1 mile down freeway in someones windshield. It jumped the median and came into on coming traffic. Caused a pretty bad 1 vehicle car crash. Thankfully he didnt get any tickets for that. He just had to pay for damage to the other car. Ever since then he has 2 locking lugs on 1 rim for that reason.
