Pulled a lot of stuff of the frt of the engine thinkin my water pump was shot. Come to discover the lwr rad hose was not exactly tight where it fits at the pump. I cud not see where the coolant was coming frm w/ all the PS pump and AC stuff in the way - I figured it might be coming frm the lower hole in the pump shaft housing. i did'nt feel any moisture there after removin the pulley or see any signs of a leak there. Im not sure it's not the pump, but Im guessing it was/is not the pump. I will know when I put it all bac together.

It's not a wasted effort cuz I want to mount my elec fan w/ something other than the plastic stems goin thru the rad. To remove the fan I have to take the rad loose frm the support - don't like that.
I had bought another wp - will probably just shelf it if the one on the car is not defective.

Dropped the oil pan and fixed the stripped drain plug, reinstalled the pan.Spent some time cleaning up under the hood not 100% satisfied. May yank the engine to do a proper clean up.
Did some work on the 68 Firebird.

One last cold adjustment of the lifters (a little on the tight side to begin with) before I take it to the dyno on Thursday for test/tune next week...........................have 4 different sets of plugs from hot to cold for the motor, jets, gaskets, cams for the carb, need to install the fuel regulator, plug wires done, dist set w/springs bushings, filled with oil and primed, need to put on flex plate/adapter, have header gaskets and headers....need to take the coil out of the car to use, need to get header bolts..............need to get 10 gallons of fuel (112or114 is going to hurt the pocket book!).......................can't think of anything else.
    Hoping for the best..........................

Just finished converting over to disc brakes for the front. Once I replace the tie rods and get some tires I'll be finally ready to roll! I've been sitting on this thing since February of last year!

Put gas in it and drove it to work today. First time taking it to work in a year. Going to try to do it once a week until it gets hot.

I started my 70. Put the fenders and hoods on the Comet GT and the Sprint for pictures for Haggerty. Got both moved around and inside the garage. Will take pics tomorrow and also of the 71 Grabber in the trailer. :)
