Anyone else like me...I park the maverick at a store and as im walking away towards the store i turn around several times looking at the mav. Once in the store i look out the nearest window or door and continue with my behavior. My wife thinks im crazy and cant figure me out. I dont do it with our bmw or any other car I guess i just want to make sure its safe.I really never noticed myself doing this as much as im told i do....Oh well.
LOL Im always looking back at mine. If its in the driveway or a parking spot I go to the window and check nobodys near it. Likely way more than I think I do like you said.
I have been guilty of that with a few of my favorite cars that I have had. Usually the more mods to it, the more it happened. Other ones, not at all.
Same here. I'll park in the "back 40" at work and as Im walking up to the building, I turn and look at it at different points along the way just to see how good it looks from different distances and angles. If I'm on my way home and the car is in the driveway, I'll even drive past it to see it from the other side on approach. The best though is when driving down town, passing store windows and catching the reflection of myself in them as I go by. It looks best when its moving.
Yup. Guilty but since I'm working on my Maverick I tend to do that with my lowered Ranger or our Trans Am. I also park at restaurants where I can see the car or truck from my seat if possible. They're more than "just transportation" to me. Bruce
haha, good call! I remember back in LA there was this row of tainted bank windows and I could watch the maverick on Wilshire Ave for like a whole block....
that would be so awesome... the other day i took mine out to the mall and i was looking back at it the whole time basically and smiling..without looking in front of me..then i walked into someone.
I think we're all guilty of "rubber necking" our Mavericks. I park mine right outside my living room window and constantly find myself opening the blinds when i hear laughing or talking outside to make sure they're nowhere near my car. I'm lucky enough to play with a Camera system at work, so my car is always parked in camera view and very frequently checked on.
