wow..i usually don't like big bumper car's but that's a thing of beauty! seems were posting pics of our carssss. took this last week down at the waterfront
I do it all the time in my Maverick and Cobra Mustang, then I look to make sure nobody is watching me check out my own cars.
The first step is understanding the disease, is to admit the disease. It's called "Mavericomititus", it's pronounced MA-ver-rick-Com-it-TI-tus. Once you are afflicted, it becomes a lifelong disability. I have learned to just live with it. More importantly, the wife has realized my affliction and now she has to cope with it as best as possible. Sincerely, fellow sufferer Mavericomititus….
Guilty as charged. If I go inside a Restuarant or something I always try to park where I know I can see it. It's an uncomfortable feeling if it's out of sight for an hour or so and you just know people are walking up to it taking a closer look.
Guess frank is the only one not infected mines a POS still and I scope it daily. Walked into garbage can one time looking at it.
Super guilty of this. It really doesn't help that I almost can't drive it anywhere without having people tell me how much they like my car.
I have a little different disease with a similar name (read my signature for the name). I was diagnosed in 2006, and it's been very hard to live with for the past 6 years. It dominated my life for the first 2 years, then I slowly became ok with it. But lately the symptoms have started creeping up on me again. Symptoms may include irritability, anxiety, insomnia due to excitedness, a sudden urge to pick up a 1/2" wrench, vivid automotive dreams, and sweating profusely while your heart pounds at the sight of any Ford Maverick or Mercury Comet. It is a horrible sickness without any hope of a cure. My doctor gave me a prescription for a Ford Maverick to help ease the symptoms. Unfortunately, my health insurance doesn't cover that particular medication and it's kind of expensive. If anyone would like to make a donation to help with my disease, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Reminds me of when I was 16 and walking home from work (only 2 blocks) and I saw this beautiful red and black 1973 Grabber driving down road and I remember thinking, wow, that's a hot car. Then I realized that it was my Maverick and my dad was driving it. I miss that car!
