In line 250 ci valve bolt torque sequence?

    Hi Friends , anybody to know the ford maverick In line 250 ci valve cover bolt torque sequence?

    '74 Maverick 250 5-Speed.'60 Falcon V8. '63.5 Falcon HT
    3-5 ft lbs. Start in the middle and work your way to the ends same as you would an intake

    I don't know a specific torque, but all I ever use is a nutdriver! If they're too loose, you can always snug them a teense more. If they're too tight you've bent the rocker cover and it will leak like a b-ch! :)

    My rule of thumb was to tighten them evenly stepping them down. Stop tightening when you see the first signs that the gaskets start to protrude out. Done.
