are they making anything good these days that can paint the letters on tires white? i cant remember what i bought 3-4 years ago but it didnt last long and it ended up turning the letters yellow....

Sounds like a much better idea. If I ever get some tires without factory white letters I think I'll try this. Yet another addition to my Mav bookmarks. I really like the look of white lettering on a tire. Just a personal taste thing.
They're Ok if you don't drive much. Bad part is that it will crack and fade out in a pretty short period of time, if you use your car frequently. I think they were made to touch up already white lettered tires.
when I was a kid and built models, guy told me enamal paints really don't stick to rubber, but laquer will.....
They use to make a wax stick that was used for these. Also , I used a wax stick that was used to mark bowling balls befoe they drilled the holes.
