Got a rack on my 70 mav with headers

    two 1977 Maverick 2drs.
    Used the same rack on mine fabbed brackets myself but went a different way with steering linkage! used an original drag link and fabbed it to mount to the rack. it will be removed for final fabricating later, but will leave inner tie rods in stock position! (its all experimental at this point)

    I pretty much followed Dave's example when I did mine. Only difference is I used the stock center link, positioned in the original location so I can use stock tie rod ends. The measured difference in movement was 3/4" less travel to each side at the tie rod end. However, the stock set up moves back 1 1/2" as it goes to the extreme, so it is really less than 3/4' lateral movement loss, due to the fact the rack has no rearward movement.     I measured mine and I am about 10". I don't think the long tube headers are going to work on my car. You are real close but it looks great Dave.(y)

    Is there a version of this rack that is manual instead of power?
