True. Assume the car sells for $25,000 at auction and you pay a 10% commission plus it costs you a $1,000 in expenses to get it there. You still received $21,500 and that is better than $13,000.

$11,600 with almost 5 days left is some pretty strong bidding imo. :thumbs2:

The price is now close to $15k...................but I think the reserve should have been higher than $16k...................IMHO

hopefully with the time left it atleast hits $30k
I doubt you could build another just like it for even $30K?
paint alone had to cost in the area of $8k?

    incredible. looks professional.
Ive always liked your car and thought wow thats really unique.

Im too young to know about shelby americana racing when I hear shelby I think mustang or the cobra. I knew they raced the cobra but I never heard of shelby americana.

so its starting to look like you will be able to build another like this for what it sells for.:thumbs2: Im still hoping to see this car go for $30k

Lets just pray you don't get any zero feedback deadbeat bidders now. One got me awhile back. "Lol I don't want it, I just wanted to see what the reserve was"

That is why I lock mine so zero and negative feedback bidders cannot bid on my items.

I agree! I gess it depends on how fast u want to sell it. I think a vry sml percentage of people on this forum "or most forums", cud build that car for anywhere close to 15K.

Sometimes not having a too high of a reserve spurs buyers on....They know that the high bidder will get the car instead of bidding against a reserve that is too high

This would definately be one of those times where I'd love to be wrong about my earlier 18k high side estimate as anything less than 20k would be a crying shame.

I really do dig that car and hope for your sake that it does go past 20k before end of auction. Good luck and timing is everything!
