I came across this great site and wanted to share my car with everyone. I bought a 1974 4 door Maverick from a classmate in high school for $400. I am the 3rd owner and it currently has 82,000 miles on it. I used it as my main mode of transport from high school in the late 90s until around 2004 when I began having carburetor issues. I went to Auto Body college in 2005 and completely restored the exterior. There it sat until 2010 when the original 250 straight six engine was pulled. I moved many times from 2010 through now and it has come along with me to every new place, but never being driven since 2005. Plans are to put a 302 in this summer or fall and finally drive it once again.
not a fan of 4 door cars but youve done a good job cleaning yours up now weld the back doors shut and cut the pillar out and shave the rear door handles and youll have a rare small 2 door car
