I have always loved this car, can't afford it but what I really want to know after watching the videos is where I can get a pair of those pinstriped shoes? Cool car, cool videos, hope it goes sky high for you. I'm not kidding about the shoes either.:D

The market determined that that's the correct price for the car....One guy who bid called and said he wanted to bid more but he got involved at work and missed it....He has a firm offer of $17,500.00 should the deal fall through

They got a deal imo. If you built a 65 Mustang coupe just like that it would probably sell for $25,000 +.

Not at all. Point being that if a person was looking for this type of car (trans am /road course style build), all you'd probably be able to find would be a Mustang or Camaro which would cost a lot more. Hence the buyer got this car at a good price.

shame to see you sell it just for extra cash but the new owner got a killer deal and should enjoy it for many years to come

hopefully they actually race it and join here so we can see it open up

Turns out the guy who bought it is a customer of mine.....Makes prostetics and is not hurting for money.....He already has a few toys.....Believe me, he will not be going to the track with the car....It'll join the others in his huge garage and come out a few times a year

I guess it all comes down to, if you are happy. If you are, awesome! And congratulations on the sale, and best of luck with your move!

Major turn of events....The winner came by to check it out and pay me....Turns out he had open heart surgery 2 months ago where they split his ribs open....He had a hard time getting in and out of which he didn't think of when he bid on it.....He feels terrible and offered me $500.00 for the aggravation....I told him to forget it, that i had other people wanting the car and in case they fall through, just give me the Ebay fees if i have to list it again....We'll see what happens

Well it takes more than 2 months to recover from that kind of surgery. He's not even gonna give it time? Idunno. 'Sounds a little fishy to me, but you have another offer, so I guess it's all good.
