A local firefighter wanted my 66 RanchWagon for his wife and I had just spotted this Maverick on Craigslist. So I snatched up the Maverick for cheap and will make it my daily driver since my "other" V10 powered Mav project is in limbo.
I'm super happy to have a running Maverick to enjoy!

Looks like a decent car, I'd be a little concerned as to whats hiding under that paint..

Yeah, I hear ya... but that scares me less than twisted sub frames and it's pretty straight underneath.

Being a southern California car let's hope it's all good.

That's cool, and you did the right thing. That wagon was a hideous P.O.S.

hey ranch wagons are cool if you get the right year. I like the one with the curved glass in the rear.
ok back to the original post. now theres a good idea instead of finishing one buy another. true hot rodder form lol Im guilty of this myself. my comet will be the first one that gets finished.

Hey, don't get me wrong...I seriously loved that Ranch Wagon...I clocked over 3,300 miles on it before going to it's new home.
This Maverick was just so cheap and with a little TLC can be a daily driver and that's really what I need right now!

Your wagon is different. I thought we already discussed that before.

Good for you..now you can get your maverick / classic car fix and take your time on your other maverick. That car is really special and is a project that should not be rushed.
