Having a discussion with my Dad. Which way do you like? Engine mounts on the engine or on the car when installing engine?

I install mine in the engine bay for the 200/250. Its seems easier to get to the bolts on the side of the block.

On the 302 they are two piece mounts anyway, right?

Seems you can't bolt the engine side to the block while attached to the lowers, but I guess you could get a wrench on the lower mounts to the body... though that sounds like a royal pain.

I could see the 200 though. If I remember the mount right, seems like it might be easier to have it on the block first, but I never did pull that engine. I wore that one out when I was young and had no money to fix it.
