what size tires on small 4 lug wheels

    I have not actually taken the tires off my rims yet, but I am about 99 percent sure I have the smallest ones, the wheels are skinny.

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.

    You can take your car to a tire store and they can measure your wheel width with a set of calipers...no need to remove the wheel from the car, or even remove the tire from the wheel. Heck....you can even leave the hubcap on. Then once they have a measurement, they can tell you exactly what size tire will fit.

    That is not a stock 4 1/2" wheel. Stockers didn't have those shaped slots.

    I've never seen a 6" - they only came on cars that had a factory D series tire.

    you are right Larry. they must be 6 inch,because they are wider than the wheels that I have my 235x60x14 Slick's on. Thank;s for letting me know what size rims I have in case I try to sell them

    Those look like Datsun wheels, defiantly not Ford wheels.
