Original paint on metal dash

    1977 Maverick 2 door with a 302.
    I double checked the PPG paint chip pages for 1974 and there is a Ford code for that Orange interior paint. The Ford code is 4041G. Maybe your paint supply guys can cross reference that paint code and see what turns up. That paint code is pretty old but it might be worth a shot.

    Thank you all for the advice. Unfortunately the 4041G isn't getting us anywhere still. I'll keep searching and asking!

    I always thought interior paint was lacquer that was not color sanded and buffed out. That's why it's semi-shiny but not really shiny. I'm I wrong?
