Chrome powder coat comparisons

    Here are some pictures I posted on oldminibikes.com. I have several Heald SuperTrykes. I got a piece of tubing powder coated with chrome powder. Here is the comparison I did. I like this finish. It isn't chrome, but is much cheaper. I thought this might help anyone thinking of using chrome powder coating.

    I have an old sink base that I had done in powder coat chrome. It doesn't look like chrome....but it looks good and I like it.

    I took a batch into the shop to have them powder coated. Here are the results. He couldn't get powder to stick to the brake handle bases, so I will paint them. These are all Heald SuperTryke parts.
