I was cruising Craigslist when I found a guy in my town that was selling an "old Maverick hood" for $300. I thought it seemed a little expensive, unless it was a Grabber hood. The guy sent a picture and low & behold it was a Grabber hood. We spoke on the phone and he brought it to my house this morning for me to look at. It is a '71 hood with basically no rust(light surface rust), the lip is excellent and it has one dent. When we talked earlier he said he would take $250. He said he thought it was only damage to the paint, but then he realized it was a dent so he would take $200 for it. Score!:bananaman Now I just need to find some place to store it for the next 10 years so I can sell it for big bucks.

atleast with the comet hood hell be sporting a cool hood and grill instead of a plain ol pointy flat grill and hood

see with the grabber hood his car wont embarrass a comet hood on a maverick and until we cut the maverick tail light panel out and get a comet tail light panel in he should use maverick parts after all we dont want him to be embarrassed to park his MAVET next to my COMET :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

Now that is the best deal I've heard yet.
Well if you didn't use it, hopefully you sold it for a good profit.

Nope still have it. Started to fix the small dent and ended up going a different route with my original hood. Now it just takes up space.

It would be nice to see if someone can't use what they find to pass on their good find to others without making a large profit.

I hate when it comes down to always being about the money.

By the way did you ever use thaht chin spoiler?
