Gas Cap and Canister Question

    I would like to remove the charcoal canister from my engine compartment of my 73 Maverick.

    I've attached some pics of my current gas cap, is this a vented or non-vented cap?

    I've been reading threads where people have removed the canister and then had trouble because their cap wasn't vented.

    Pucker up to the nipple in the center and blow. If she fights you... it is not vented. And you are probably going to get slapped with a restraining order. :yup:
