I'm thinking about putting in a dual exhaust. what would you guys recommend, a H pipe or have the exhaust coming off of each head:huh:? Cheers and a Happy New Year!

:Welcome: from the great NW. I read that you get a sizable increase in HP by using a H pipe over seperate pipes or X pipe. I need to have one added to my exhaust also. :tiphat:

H-pipe will mellow the tone slightly, and be slightly less noisy.

Low-RPM throttle response is slightly better with an H-pipe as well. The actual power increase is negligible (like 3 or 4 hp), and only at certain RPMs.

again, depending on...carb, intake, heads, cam and size/length of exhaust pipes.
I've ran all 3 (X...H...duels), difference was mostly sound tone...:yup:
