I'm right there with you Dan for being a cold lover. Fall (cause of the colors and hunting), Winter, Spring, Summer, in that order for me. Great thing about living in the North is truely having 4 season.

We could use that snow here. So far this winter has just made me friendly with my LP gas driver. It supposed to get to -12 degrees F tonight. And that's not that bogus windchill number, that's the temperature!

    Snow. Ugh.

My 23 y/o daughter who is in Ohio, just called
(while driving) to specifically ask me how fast
she could safely drive her Yukon in 4WD - in the snow.

    :slap:

What do you do if your mav is your daily driver and there is a bunch of snow outside? :(

    Snow????????

well, we did get a freak snow/ice storm one day, in the middle of the day it hit ..... had driven the comet to work and all was fine (3am), by the time I left (2pm)it was about a foot deep all over the roads. Was very funny watching all the bubbas in the big truck with the big tires ...... just slipping and sliding trying to get up the inclines:biglaugh: :biglaugh: so here I come in the comet ....... that 250 had just enough, or should I say barely enough, uummpphhh to just chug right on past all those that couldn't make it. It was great(y) .......Robert

p.s. No harm done, later that day, around 4pm, the sun was out and melted all that white stuff ...... gotta love Texas:D

Im with Mavaholic... Im moving to Florida... OH WAIT! I DO live in florida :yup:

It was a cold one here today though too. It got down to about 65 and the palm trees swayed a bit.
My 71 Grabber came in from Tenn. this morning though so I got to get under that and do some stuff to it. If I had snow like that, I wouldnt have been able to do anything. It was pouring down rain and I was drenched, but things had to be done. I had my little fella to fix up and play with.

You all stay warm and drive careful!!!!

Yeah you could say that again Tom. We got 20.5 inches of snow in 24 hours here. that is a record for us in one day. We only got 7 inches total last year.

When our Stallion was my daily driver, it was pretty good in the snow. Not great, but that 250 was just enough power to get me through some fairly deep snow. It sure was fun to do donuts with too.:woohoo1: My 77' on the other hand, was useless in the snow. Too much power. All it did was spin it's wheels and go nowhere fast.:banghead3 Now they are both retired from snow duty.

Well, I got the lawn mowed today. Thought about laying by the pool and relaxing for a while but it's alittle chilly (68 degrees). Sorry to hear about your white out problem.:D
