So when i switched intakes for the 4 barrel conversion, i hooked up the brake booster to the vacuum port at the base of the carb... i no longer...
I couldnt advance my timing any more because the distributor's vacuum pump was hitting the thermostat. Rotating a gear on the distributor wouldnt...
Update for "Lessons learned" The new coil did not fix the problem...in fact, over the last 6 months I've changed every piece of the ignition...
