    Hello guys,

It's been an insane long time since my last post here the forum. I'd like to share my Maverick's lastest adventure: the 1/8 mile drag race.

It was all for fun and entertainment, no prep track, radial BF Goodrich Radial T/A 245/60 R15 tires with 16lbs of pressure. Stock rear suspension.

It was the third time I was at the drag strip with the car and was my best pass so far:

    Reaction 0,583s (..zzZz)
    60 foot 2,429s
    100m 6,433s
    ET 9,848s @ 122km/h (75.8mph)

I'd like to go high 8's, so I'll have to figure out a lot of things to improve in the car.

    Most exciting "win"

    Most exciting "loss"

    Hope you enjoy!!!

Nice runs! Without that Chrysler garbage modern day drag racing wouldn't be the same.

Sure looks like a lot of fun! Thanks for sharing the videos!

And I agree 150%! I love me some Fords too.. but racing would be boring as hell and the brand rivalry keeps things much more interesting. Plus, we wouldn't even have had the horsepower wars we had back then.. and now again these days if it wasn't for the Mopars and Chevys. Competition is good for everyone and spices up the car lots and race tracks.

    Thanks!!!

Thank you all for your comments and your time to check out the vĂdeos.

There's one problem though...the racetrack is being shutdown at the end of the year :(

I'll have to travel 100miles to the closest asphalt racetrack.

Give him some credit for pleasing the crowd with his throttle stabs and burnout:rofl2:

Hehehe... Yes the engine sound was much louder than mine, and actually the car was faster. It was a high 8s car, but on that run something might have happened... maybe the Maverick's stance! Hehehe

    Looks great. Clean and understated.
