Plus the number on this forum. I hate to admit that there may be a motorcycle forum, a guitar forum, and possibly a gun forum that have a similar story. So, the number of folks very unhappy with him may be exceeding five figures.

I remember this thread. I had seen that car in person (and liked it) - I was sad to hear it was at the bottom of a rock quarry.
I read the post over at the van forum. They seem to be great guys (kind of like our boards).
This whole story is sad to hear.

I found the thread and it was deleted ............. I can read deleted posts but I'm not sure if you will be able to follow my link. If you cannot see it in this link let me know

Dirty is dirty -- I like that

(I deleted the link to the stolen car thread - it could not be opened by anyone else anyway)

No date when the thread was deleted - it just shows who deleted it (one guess)

You guys doing some searching for the truth ......... original post is on 11/26/2005 and he says he was contacted by Mississippi Highway Patrol on 11/28/2005 to call about the car.

The thread - the whole thread - all the threads about Jim - still exists. Maybe if you ask Stefan, he can open it back up for all to see. I cannot make that call - this is not my board. I could cut and paste it all for you - but I will not. It should be left for Stefan.

I just read it all again after all these years. So much is now clear to me. Patterns of behaviour just like on the vanner board. The stolen car, the lost tools, the lost guitar, the falling off a ladder, the heart problems, a black cloud over his head on every thread------- just one bad thing happening after another .......... this guy was good

    :(:(:(

The link that maveruck 1970 shows on his post shows where phoneix went too. Contact inline6 or Boss. We all discussed me giving it to him, thats in the posts here too, on this thread I believe. Yall go on with your witch hunt. As for my space its never even been used, no contacts at all. This is my last word here or anywhere else.Believe what you want. Every part and that shell went to inline 6...contact him.

That basically sums up that thread. That thread probably was deleted a few years ago when the forum used an older version of the software as there is no deletion date. The current version of the software keeps track of when threads are deleted.

    our buddy Jim

Interesting coincidence...his stolen Dodge van was found in a ravine in Mississippi, too! The Memphis police have no report of the stolen van, and the Ms. Highway patrol have no recovery and no arrest. There was a stolen Ford pickup truck in Mississippi, also! The story unfolds in Vannin.com! I joined here for fun, I see many similarities between our two groups...We keep on vannin', you keep on Mavin'!

Guess we need to have a vannin/mav meet now, you folks seem to have a commitment & love for your auto's as well as each other like us vanners do.

guess the only good thing to come out of this bunch of crap is we found another group of people that have a big heart and care about there car club family members,

    cheers all
    Rich
